  • Where can I drop off food?

    • You can drop off food at The Food Pantry located at 1107 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Hours are 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday and Fridays from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
  • Do I need to let The Food Pantry know that I am having a food drive?

    • We would love to know about your food drive! We can even help advertise it on our Facebook page. Contact Wynema Lovell at wynemal@bellsouth.net so she has the details.
  • Do you have barrels or boxes for collecting food?

    • We have both barrels and boxes for food collection. You are welcome to pick them up at The Food Pantry during open hours. If you expect to collect more than 500 pounds of food during your drive, you can request delivery and pickup.
  • Should I donate food or funds?

    • Both food and funds help The Food Pantry fight hunger.
      • Cash donations allow us to stretch your dollar and make large, bulk purchases of items that are not donated but needed on our shelves.
      • Food drives keep our shelves stocked throughout the year with a variety of nutritious, quality products for which we are grateful.
  • What food items do you need most?

    • The most needed food items are canned meats (chicken, tuna, beef stew, chili), dried and canned beans, canned pasta, peanut butter and jelly, canned vegetables and fruits, soups with meat/beans, dried pastas and sauce
  • Can I find out how much my group collected?

    • Of course! All donations are weighed and recorded. An acknowledgement/thank you will be sent to you in the mail
  • Who do I make a check out to?

    • Please make checks out to The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs.
  • Will I get a receipt for cash donations?

    • Anyone making a monetary donation will receive an acknowledgement/thank you letter with the amount of the donation.
  • Can I donate online?

    • Yes! Our ClearGIVE link allows you to make a one-time donation or schedule a recurring donation throughout the year.

    • Visit one of our partner churches, Department of Children & Families, Clay County Health Department, or Green Cove Springs Neighborhood Resource and Referral Center to receive a referral to The Food Pantry
