Our Success

Highlights of the Year

The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs opened its doors on July 31, 1989. Records show that in November and December of that year, 324 people were served. It was obvious that there was a need.

31 years later, in 2020, a total of 8,632 people were served. Thanks to the continued support of the local community, The Food Pantry can offer food and hope.

Reinhold Foundation & Celebrate Clay Awards

Celebrate Clay was created in 2009 by The Paul E. & Klare N. Reinhold Foundation, Inc. to recognize, reward, and encourage community service within Clay County. Annual cash awards are presented to non-profit groups providing outstanding services, as selected by a panel of judges who vote the best for that year. Since, 2009, the Reinhold Foundation has awarded $465,000 to more than 100 nonprofit organizations at its annual “Celebrate Clay” community service awards breakfast.

The Food Pantry of Green Cove Springs is honored to be among the many “Celebrate Clay” award recipients. We would like to thank The Reinhold Foundation for their generous contributions in making Clay County a better place.
